Google Analytics is our choice of Analytics software and we ensure that every website we’re involved with has Google Analytics integrated. However, Google Analytics provides a huge amount of data which isn’t always ideal for everyone, especially beginners. So, we done some research to uncover a few Analytics plugins for WordPress for beginners.
If you’re looking for a 1-click solution for viewing Analytics data in your WordPress installation, then Analytify is a great option. Analytify will give you information on general statistics, countries, social media, referring websites and so the list goes on. It’s a fantastic option for a quick and easy installation to data access.
#2 W3Counter Stats
Perhaps you need access to more statistics rather than just a quick overview. W3Counter will provide you with a great deal more insight than Analytify. You will have to create an account at W3Counter, but it only takes a couple of minutes to get up and running. You’ll be able to view daily, weekly and monthly visits and page views, recent visitor information, popular posts and the likes.
#3 WP Power Stats
This plugin won’t give you much more than the previous two, however, it has a lovely interface which makes quickly viewing statistics very easy. The plugin will also allow you to easily see statistics without having to click on links or visit different pages of information. It’s a quick and easy visual experience compared to the more analytical options available.
As we’ve said, we’re fans of Google Analytics and having access to all the information, but if you’re looking for a quick and easy way of reviewing some statistics then these 3 plugins will be incredibly handy.
