2014 SEO Conferences and Events

Now that January is almost over and the chaos of starting a new year has somewhat settled we're able to take a moment to look at some of the incredible SEO conferences and events that 2014 has prepared for us. Unfortunately, the major conferences take place outside of South Africa so you'll need to get your passport ready, pack a bag and choose carefully. There's a really stellar line up this year for all of us digital marketers, just take a glance over this list:

    It would be great if we could get one or two local events going – seeing as how WordPress Word Camp managed to take off fairly well, I’m sure there would be a fair bit of interest.
    As much as I’d like to attend some of these I don’t see my current employers putting down the cash for a ticket, which makes the idea of something popping up locally all that much more appealing.

      @Jaydon You and us! We’re keeping our eyes and ears open for local marketing type events, especially those with a focus on SEO.

    I couldn’t agree more. Some of these events are absolutely incredible, but with the weak Rand, the sheer cost vs value of attending would be really difficult to justify. I hope that some of them are streamed online at least.
    The local scene for SEO events is rather sad unfortunately, there just doesn’t seem to be the following the places overseas have. Perhaps this will change, we can only hope!
